VISION AND MISSION • It is also important that all the youth capture and internalise the vision and mission of the development agency. • The professionals and experts in various fields must be brought to the fore to assist the youth to set up objectives and monitor controls. • To monitor implementation of the strategy there must be comprehensive co-ordination between all the youth structures and substructures.
Sports & Recreation Arts & Culture Travel & Tourism Beauty & Modelling Education & Training Welfare & Health Religion All sporting codes in each locality , e.g. Cricket, Hockey, Rugby, Boxing, Swimming etc Fine Arts, Music, La nguages, Museums, Monuments, Norms & Cultures, Dance Etc. Tours, B&Bs, Accommodations, Game Parks,Leisure,Travel, Attractions etc. Beauty Contests/ Therapy, Modelling, Modelling Schools, etc. Science & Technology, Pre-Schools, Primary Schools, Sec Schools, Universities, Technical Colleges, Technicons, etc. HIV/Aids, Basic Hygiene Practices, Rehabilitations, Prison youth, Foreign Youth Church Youth, Gospel music, Doctrines, Ethics, etc. KEY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AREAS IDENTIFIED
IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY • Ministry of Youth Affairs to be established. • National Youth Development Agency will be responsible to this Ministry. • Establish 9 Provincial Youth Development Agencies.Eg.Gauteng, Mpumalanga etc. • Each Province will have regional Metro Agencies under its control.Eg.Ekurhuleni, Tshwane
HOW ? • To achieve this fate, mentors, coaches and role models must be identified to lead the way. • Integral to this must be the restoration of fundamental value system (Ubuntu). • To this end a wholistic, concerted approach to be implemented to identify talents pertinent to youth aspirations.
LOCAL YOUTH COUNCILS • All Project Committees to meet in a Council to give reports quartely on progress achieved. • Such councils to be managed as above. • The Council to be monitored by the Local Development Agency
