Mexico Today • Mexico is not fully economically developed, but improving • Biggest problem is social inequality
Challenges for the Future • Location leads to pollution • Inequality leads to poverty, which leads to crime • Mexico’s best want to leave • Lack of skilled workers in Mexico • Cycle of Poverty because of inequality

South America Biggest issue facing South America is poverty. Poverty has led to drug trafficking, violence, and terrorism throughout South America
El Nino/La Nina • El Nino – unusually warm water in the southeastern Pacific Ocean causes weather changes • La Nina – unusually cool water in the southeast Pacific Ocean has the opposite effect.
