Youth centered: Soccer clubs, YMCA nearby, Boys and Girls club nearby, Home court (basketball club) • A lot of consignment shops. • Rotary community park: ecological conservations space and skate park. • Skating competitions • Teen art show as part of Woodinville light festival
Where do you eat? • Sooo many restaurants of all kinds • Top foods, QFC, Target • 1 movie theater • Several health facilities and dentistry offices • 1 urgent care clinic • Various retail shops, no malls, small shops and big companies
What is Woodinville known for? • Wineries (tourism), dinner train, brewery • Light industrial (farming, contracting) • Retail (local businesses and large companies)
Questions I still have… • Not many facilities focused on aiding those in need. Perhaps because of the lack of those in need in this community? • Also lack of culturally diverse opportunities. • High emphasis on wineries- how does this affect teens? • Is it like Europe where if you are always brought up with it its not a big deal? • Or does it introduce them to this too early in life?
