Adverbs • Comparative Adverbs: used when comparing two people, places, or things. • She runs more quickly at school than at soccer practice. • I wish your mashed potatoes were less lumpy than hers. • Superlative Adverbs: indicates the extreme quality of something and is used talking about 3 or more people, places, or things. • My teacher is the most helpful one in the school. • Out of everyone in my family, I eat beans the least often.
