  3. How He Got His Name • Birth Name is Theodor Seuss Geisel • After getting into some trouble in College he was banned from having his cartoons published in the school paper. • Published work under many names including Dr. Theophrastus Seuss. • Later shorted it to Dr. Seuss in 1928.
