Overview of SSE • SSE owns 11.4GW of Electricity Generating Capacity in the UK and Ireland • SSE is the Largest Renewable Energy Generator in the UK • SSE’s Total Capacity (Including Joint Ventures and Associates) Comprises: • 4.6GW of gas- and oil-fired capacity. • 4,4GW of coal-fired capacity (with biomass co-firing capability). • 2,4GW of renewable (hydro, wind, EfW and dedicated biomass) capacity • SSE is Investing Around £4 Billion in New Capacity Between 2008-13
