ADDIE Model vs. Kemp ModelGroup Member:Leonel Yanez; Michaelina Hernandez; Rebeca Grimaldo; Rene Lopez; Rodolfo Gracia Introduction: There are several Instructional Design models in the field that have been successfully implemented at small or large scales. ID models like the ADDIE and Kemp Model provide instructional guidelines design to tackle specific or general problems not only in the educational field but also in the business world. The ADDIE model consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The Kemp Model consists of nine non-sequential elements of instructional design. One of the main ideas is to emphasize the idea of continuous implementation and evaluation through the developing process. We will compare and contrast the ADDIE and Kemp instructional models and develop an instructional program based on each of the models strategies targeted to the needs of middle school students. Motivation: Since several members of our group have previous experience with the ADDIE model and are currently working in the K-12 field, we decided that middle school students should be our target group for our project. Approach: Implement both instructional design models with the idea of targeting the specific educational need of middle school students.
