Training and Support • The Department of Labor and Workforce Development trained 65 librarians from 45 public libraries in April 2009 • Webinars, wikis, listservs share links and provide training • Regional library in-service training for small, rural libraries develop best practices • 46 Tennessee Electronic Library webinar and on-site training sessions with 900 participants
Tools WinWay Resume Deluxe 192 licenses purchased and installed in public libraries in June, 2009 Software is intuitive and easy to use Flyers for libraries developed and distributed as pdf.
LSTA Direct Service Grants • December, 2008 Workshops introducing $7,500 grant for Job Training Centers in public libraries • Six Public Libraries received grants • Requires formal partnerships with the Department of Labor and Workforce career development centers, community colleges, and local businesses
