  3. Beyond Usual Lectures >>> In 2013 too, Stuttgart’s Formula Student team was able to replicate the success of the previous year. On the Hockenheim race track in Germany as well as in Italy their racing car “F0711-7” was again awarded the 1st place. With the fastest 0-100 km/h acceleration, the electrically driven race car of the Uni Stuttgart Greenteam ends up setting the world record in 2012. The decisive race took place on the Malmsheim airfield.

  4. <<< Beyond Usual Lectures >>> Reaching for the stars and for the moon, that‘s what the Study Group "Astronomy" does using the university‘s telescope in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. The jury of the Wood Construction Prize Baden-Württemberg 2012 judged it a „groundbraking innovation“: the „research pavillon“ planned and constructed by architecture students of University of Stuttgart.   5. <<< Beyond Usual Lectures One of the goals of the students initiative „Crossing Borders“ is to supply renewable energy to the world‘s poor: Thus, in 2012 the group went to South Africa to install a hot water supply system as well as solar panels for an orphanage there. To drive against the wind – with a wind-driven bike – that is the challenge faced by the students group "InVentus“.
