“AHS Registered Early and Extra Early Daylilies” An AHS Media Library Production - 2011 Thanks to Julie Covington for donating this presentation.
Early and Extra Early registered cultivars are those which garden visitors seldom see in bloom during National, Regional or local garden tours. To enjoy these first blooms of the season, daylily enthusiasts must either grow these great season extenders in their home gardens or visit other gardens several weeks before peak. These images represent only a small fraction of the 7,698 cultivars currently registered with the AHS ( at the end of 2010) as early or extra early bloomers! The largest group of early bloomers are spiders and UFs, which are shown first.
