3. AIMS: The Scottish Healthy Care Network was set up to ………
Raise the profile of health as it relates to all looked after children and young people and care leavers in Scotland.
Build upon and contribute to ongoing improvements in health standards and services for all looked after children and young people and care leavers in Scotland.
Promote partnership working and links between professionals, organisations, networks & forums across all key settings such as health, education, social work and the voluntary sector.
Influence health & children’s policy, planning and practice at a local and national level in Scotland.
Create opportunities for debate and the facilitation of ideas, good practice and information.

9. Aim/s
To ensure that the Healthy Care Network in Scotland continues to be responsive to the needs of its members - supporting policy, planning & practice that promotes the health & wellbeing of all looked after children and young people and care leavers in Scotland.
To provide an opportunity for members to inform the future development, shape and direction of the Healthy Care Network in Scotland.
To inform the development of a SHCN Business/Development Plan for 2010-2012.
