Importance • When you go to Food for Less and you want to buy things, you need to be able to add the cost for items up in your head to make sure that you have enough money with you to buy them. • When you pay for something with cash, you need to know if the person gives you the correct amount of change back. • What would be other reasons to know how to add numbers with decimals?
