  3. What to bring along • Hostel Contract (tenants only) • If not submitted electronically already • NOK 3000 Hostel Deposit • If not paid online already • NOK 500 Semester Fee • (Non Exchange students only)

  4. Semester fee bills • Will be handed out at the SiTo counter by Ingvild

  5. What to do at SiTo? 2 queues: • Left queue: Report arrival Submit hostel contract if not signed already Receive laundry card • Right queue: Pay hostel deposit if not paid already Pay semester fee Get info accessing deposited money. No cash will be handed out.

  6. Right queue: Economic issues How to pay: Cash - Norwegian currency Please note that cash is an Introductory Programme exeption Electronic – Credit card Deduct from deposited amount

  7. Deposited money • Will be transferred to you once you have got your own bank account, or state that you want it transferred back to your home country. Please be aware that SiTo will request you to hold back enough money to cover for at least one semester of house rent. • Meanwhile: You can deduct: • Hostel deposit • Semester fee • House rent will automatically be deducted

Deposited money • In addition, you can withdraw from the deposited amount: • You will not be able to get any cash at the counter, but you can have a Fokus Prepaid Card, (one time cost NOK 350, including a service fee of NOK 200) and fill up with a part of your deposited money while waiting for your own bank account. • The card works like a regular ATM card (free use) • Contact “Economy” at the SiTo Service Centre to make a request appointment regarding this.

  9. House rent • Invoices will be available in the beginning of every month at “Din side” / “Your page” at SiTo.no. You are noticed by email. • How to pay: • Log in (e-mail + password) and pay online! Make sure your VISA or MasterCard includes 3- D-secure. • Or you can transfer with IBAN and SWIFT/BIC. • Apply for Norwegian account, pay online. • Please, avoid paying at SiToServicesenter!

  10. Don’t want to live in the room you were granted? • Applications to transfer to other hostels will not be dealt with before 15 February, but most likely, nothing will be available. • Why? • Not enough rooms for new Norwegian students, no vacant rooms, and an extremely heavy work load at the SiTo Service Centre due to this.

  11. Want to report something not working in your room? • Someone will help you do it online at the SiTo visit tomorrow.
