  6. Aiken Drum • Smart Board to play Aiken Drum vs. CD player. • Web-site blocked • Students made up own verses to song. • Interactive lesson despite technological difficulties.

  8. Classroom Management • The class was organized in centers. Five to four students in a center. If students disrupted their car was moved to the yellow for a warning. If the behavior persisted, their car was moved to the red.

  9. Literacy Activities • Letter Magnets on cookie sheet • They LOVED writing on the white boards!! • Writing word wall words on note cars with markers • ABC Bingo was definitely a fan favorite! *Basically I brought in different art media for children to write with and even though it may have been the same activity they eagerly participated.
