The Australian Universities Quality Agency The Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) released an exceptionally positive report of its second audit of the University, which took place in August 2009. UniSA has a strong sense of direction, is well‐organised, effectively governed and managed and is tackling core issues through its focus on workforce reform. It seems well‐placed, therefore, to deliver on its ambitious agenda.

To realise Horizon 2020, we will: • invest at least $1 billion to support our ambitions • consolidate our campuses to make better use of our resources and strengthen services to students • create a University College • seek to establish a medical school focusing on disadvantaged populations • construct a major building at City West integrating smart learning spaces and student support services • develop research infrastructure that underpins major growth in the number of research-productive staff and doctoral graduates.
