Compliance Reporting: SPP & PBMAS
Indicator 13 • Indicator 14 • PBMAS Actionable Data Today’s Focus:
Senate Bill 1788 Sec. 29.0111. BEGINNING OF TRANSITION PLANNING. Appropriate state transition planning under the procedure adopted under Section 29.011 must begin for a student not later than when the student reaches 14 years of age.
Begin folder review after annual ARD prior to student’s 14th birthday • Only those turning 16 by June 30th of reporting year are included in the list We propose:
ARD Notice/Parent Response • ARD Committee Meeting Report* • IEP Transition Supplement w/ • Coordinated Set of Activities • Vocational Assessment Forms The Process:
Interact with your data to improve your processes. The ACTIONABLE Piece:
with v10.3 Transition Tracking
After each annual ARD, the Case Manager/Transition Coordinator: • Reviews findings • Adds additional information where appropriate (e.g. Misc form)
These aren’t our instructions; they are the agency’s, but they apply!
Printing criteria to show how each item is met significantly increases length of report, but provides detailed information. The process is repeated throughout the school year after each annual review.
Report Utility • Tasks: • ID previous submissions • Create alphabetic list/sample • Print and report to TEASE Administrators
for each of the past 3 years(students from Inactive are pulled in)
Enrollment Statuses: • Active • Initial • Transferred
Select the list of campuses provided by the agency, • Click Open Indicator 13 Report button • Alphabetic list of students is generated • Identify student sample Afterwards,
When it is time to set the group, click the ID Random Group. Enter date and click Set Group. Click Print.
The example above lists the information that is to be reported to TEASE. One line per student; for easy entry, data is in the same format as on the TEASE screen.
ID previous years’ submissions just as you do for Indicator 13.
Report will provide demographic data on: • The student • The parent • Other Be prepared; it’s a long report – one student per page.
V10 – New Fields: Information must be provided throughout the year to be “reportable”.
Completion of these fields will lead to a PBMAS – State Assessment report. We do expect additional changes once TEA finalizes state assessment accommodation decisions.
