  11. What’s Worked - Library Partnership • Public library Bylaws forbid user charging for an event. • Library generally charges rental fee, but waived for SCORE because we foster business in its community. • “User Friendly” location • Easy to implement

What’s Worked – Constant Contact Partnership • CC provides speakers expert in social marketing. • All are independent business folks. • Speakers do not “sell” their service. • SCORE OC provides location and logistics • CC and SCORE OC market • Seemingly insatiable demand for social media marketing workshops

  14. Summary • Create strategic partnerships – either for presenters, space or marketing purposes • Know the needs of your partners. • Do Email Marketing • Tap members who are doers
