Totto Chan being expelled • Although Totto Chan has just started school in her first grade, she was already being expelled. • One of the reasons is that Totto Chan is basically to excited about her school’s desk that can be opened and shut. She opens and shuts it about hundred times a day, and it annoys the teachers. Also the other pupils will not be able to concentrate. • Other than that, Totto Chan will also stand by the window and call streets musicians over too. • And also, Totto Chan talks to swallows unnecessarily in class. • Besides that , she also vandalised her table .

Totto Chan’s new school: Tomoe GakuenDescription • But unexpectedly, Totto Chan loves her new school too. • There are some several things that are different from usual schools. • Totto Chan’s previous school used to have fine concrete pillars with the name of the school in large letters. But the gate of this new school simply had two rather short posts that still had twigs and leaves on them. The two gateposts were trees with roots. • For the classrooms, the school had made use of six abandoned railroad cars. • Instead of a wall, the not very spacious grounds were surrounded by trees, and there were flower beds full of red and yellow flowers.

  5. Events • I think the headmaster tells the children to bring ‘something from the ocean and something from the hills ’ is very interesting. Normally, children always like to choose what they want and what they do not want to eat. This practice teaches pupils to eat what they have and not choose their food. Hills Ocean
