  2. Big ideas • A character is the “who” in the story. • A character has many traits, roles, and similarities to other characters based on how they are described in the story and how they act in the story. • A character’s traits, actions, and roles can change throughout the story.

  4. Lets Practice… Friends Stick together Snoopy is a good friend to the birds. One summer day, Lucy invited Snoopy to come over and swim in her pool. Snoopy invited his bird friends to come too.
