Coordinator Duties • Additional Co-ordinator Duties Circular 70/04 • To co-ordinate the day to day operation of the Adult Guidance Service, including planning, supervision of staff, management of premises and resources, and maintenance of records • To support staff development, supervise guidance information services and staff. Establishing quality standards and guidelines in line with national practice for the initiative • To provide and outreach service to adult education centres in the catchment area • To market and promote the guidance service, including the development of promotional materials • To develop appropriate networks and partnerships with local agencies in the fields of education, training, welfare and community services • To monitor the service, reporting to the CEO/EO/AEO ( or community or other management structure as appropriate) on developments and provision, and informing the work of relevant national agencies
