  3. Objectives Support for the development and improvement of the geodetic framework of Central America Provision of basic meteorological data to national and regional agencies Sea-level monitoring and establishment of long-term data series

  5. Outputs Six stations installed and operational by January 1, 2001 Capacity-building activities throughout the project Regional mechanism to sustain functions beyond 2001

  6. Activities Install sea level and meteorological monitoring stations Recover historical MSL data and support development of a geodetic framework for Central America Develop a national and regional capacity Build network to strengthen cooperation among national offices in this field
