  3. WPrint User Guide Introduction Introduction WPrint software is an innovative software product, it has the following characteristics: Single nozzle to multi-layers print. This technology can be used to achieve multi-layers print by a single nozzle printer, such as white ink colors to play with, playing with white ink color varnished, multilayer thick print and so on. Advanced FM network color printing mode. Nozzle ink distribution system. It can be useful to avoid the damage of color ink channels. ICC color management system. The manual will show you how to install the software WPrint initial setting, and focus using the method described interface. Chapter 1, Software Installation Chapter 1, Software Installation 1.1 Select Computer 1.1 Select Computer WPrint software is an image processing software, and therefore need a computer with larger memory and faster computing speed. In order to increase computing speed, WPrint using the optimization algorithm for parallel processing, the multicore computing processor can play a huge effect, we recommend using the 4-core processor PC, installed memory greater than 2G, and using a 64-bit operating system better. WPrint software work under WindowsXP, Windows7 system. 1.2 Installing the software 1.2 Installing the software WPrint software CD installation disc and dongle. At first insert software's protection dog into the USB port, and CD disk into the CD-ROM drive (CD-ROM). General installation program will run automatically pop-up 2

  4. WPrint User Guide dialog box. Otherwise, select the CD-ROM drive and double-click SETUP.EXE pop-up dialog box when the installation program begins execution. Then the dialog box prompts to complete the installation step by step. WPrint is properly installed on the computer desktop, double-click the the WPrint shortcut icon, or click the [Start] menu button, in the pop-up [start] menu, click [Programs] / [WPrint] command to start the WPrint software. Chapter 2 software settings Chapter 2 software settings 2.1 parameter settings 2.1 parameter settings 2.1.1 General entry 2.1.1 General entry In the "File" menu, select "Preferences/General" general preferences dialog box pops up, as shown in this dialog box, you can set the following parameters: * "Temporary folder" * "length Unit" * "Resolution Unit" * "Preview Resolution", Layout Editor preview resolution. * "Interpolation Method" for image interpolation. * "Max Memory Size", the software use the largest block of memory. * "Default font" * "PS RIP Max Resolution" automatically select the RIP resolution maximum. * "Space between Sparation Page ", the distance between each color separation paging. * "Skin". The optional Window's skin or YouPrint's Custom skin. Skin changes must next time you start to take effect. 2.1. 2.1.2 2 Color management settings Color management settings WPrint software equipped with ICC color management system for all kinds of images in the software color 3

  5. WPrint User Guide display conversion and output device color matching of the system. Here's dialog box, you can set the monitor's ICC color profile, RGB ICC color profile and CMYK ICC color profile, and the match methods between them, In the "File" menu, select "Preferences/Color Management", "Color Management" dialog box pops up, as shown in the figure. The parameters set here as the default parameters, the software in the color conversion is performed in accordance with them. 2.2 Printer Setup 2.2 Printer Setup 2.2.1 Printer setup 2.2.1 Printer setup In the "File" menu, select "Printer Setup" pop-up "the printer setup dialog box, as shown in the figure. Before using the software, install the printer driver to use. Before using the software to print, the installed printer must be preselected with this dialog box, and then you can print by software. Preselected printer settings will be saved to the software has been effective, unless required to change, otherwise do not have to reset. In addition, this dialog box, you can also set the following parameters about printing. Click on the left button of the drop-down list to open a dialog to select a printer. * Optional setting of ink location in the drop-down list: “Normal”: Epson original machine ink level. “Dub ink”: double ink printing press-specific ink level. Others are specially set ink level is usually used in some tablet printers or used in the nozzle some damage. * Click on the right button to open a sub-dialog, you can make the following settings: "Black ink set for Epson 7908/7910 and 9908/9910 type machine. Check the "Auto cleaning", set the number of square meters per print, print nozzles cleaned once. 4

  6. WPrint User Guide * "Distance between page", Continuous Print page pitch, at least 1 inch. 2.2.2 Printer feed speed calibration 2.2.2 Printer feed speed calibration Feed speed of the printer should print nozzles to match perfectly, the speed is controlled by the feed pressure wheel stepping parameters. However, since the frictional force of the printing material is different, the different materials in the different printing mode, the speed of paper feed caused by the same stepping speed of the feed pressure wheel (the same stepper parameters) are different. In order to obtain the optimum feed rate must be measured quasi-stepping parameters. Usually the same printer printout accuracy / Print mode / printer feed method / printing media will produce different stepper parameters, even for the same kind of printing media and two different sizes of products printout under the same conditions, will also produce different stepper parameters. Printer paper feed speed imbalance will cause the inkjet point of confusion, resulting screen interference, even when serious apparent size error. This parameter is essential for the print quality. WPrint provides the accurate method of testing stepper parameters in different print modes. Select Tools/Printer Media Feed Calibration, if more than one printer, the printer will pop up a printer selection dialog box, select the test one(such as a printer, does not have this step), pop-up Figure shown Feed Adjust Test dialog box. In this dialog box, the following parameters need to be set. * "Printer resolution", according to the actual situation in the drop-down menu, select the print accuracy. * "Ink Mode", the ink inkjet method of printer, software offers two modes of Single and double ink mode. * "Nozzle usage, under normal circumstances should be 100%, and is 100% of the default. * "Roll Paper Tension", this is for Epson 7900/7910/9900/9910 types printer. * "Feed Adjust", given to test stepper parameters, such as the value 120. 5

  7. WPrint User Guide * "Test length", the length of the image of the specified print test. The longer the length of the test chart, the result will be more accurate. More needs to be calibrated to 20 inch in the general case as well. Generally concluded on the calibration of small length (8inch) in order to save time and calibration test printing supplies, then this is a benchmark for longer test chart print. Click OK, enter "Print Setup" dialog box, click on the "Detail"/"Hide Details" button, as shown in the figure. In this dialog box, the following parameters are adjusted according to the situation. * Page start position * "Media Path", roll or manual. * "Black", black ink selecting. Click the "OK" button to begin printing stepper test chart. The stepper test chart is shown in Figure shown on the right. Stepper test chart width of 1 inch, and the longitudinal direction on both sides of a vertical bar, respectively, between the two vertical bars, a bundle of horizontal line, the number and spacing of the horizontal line with the print mode becomes. With careful observation, each horizontal line is actually a horizontal line in the middle by about two docking formed, and one side of a line with a black line segment. In order to facilitate the interpretation of the two horizontal lines in a black segment of the cord known as the A-line, the other is called the B line. Observed two horizontal line in the middle of the docking at with a magnifying glass (greater than 20-fold), as shown on the right as shown. Since magnifier may but rather also may not but rather, and the test chart placed in a different direction, through a magnifying glass to see may be different with the direction of the schematic. But that does not matter, because 6

  8. WPrint User Guide only their relative positions is important. Observed through a magnifying glass, the A line, B line only three cases, on the left side of Figure, shown in the following figure. (1) B-line bias the black side of the line segment of A-line (above), which showed that the feed rate is small, stepping parameters is small, the need to increase the step parameters and then re-measured. (2) B line bias without black side of the line segment of A-line (mid), which indicates that the current feed speed is too big, that stepping parameter is too large, the need to reduce the stepping parameters and then re-measured. (3) B line exactly aligned with the A-line (below), which shows that the current feed speed just stepping parameters is accurate. Check all A, B line above, and adjust the stepping parameters to print test chart until the A, B alignment so far, to find the accurate value of the parameter. Note that due to the start of the paper feed, and within a short distance, the printer does not stable, and therefore it is not accurate to the foremost step within a distance of about 2-3 inches diameter, so at this distance of A, B line reference value, should prevail after this. Chapter Chapter 3 3 Page Layout Editor Page Layout Editor In the "File" menu, select the "Page Editor", layout window pops up, as shown in the figure. 7

  9. WPrint User Guide The Page Editor consists of 5 parts: (1) Control of leaf edition It consists of two pages: 1, Page: it can set the parameters of the layout pages. 2, layer: it can be controlled and layout unit(images) parameters.
