  3. THE DISCIPLES ASKED JESUS THREE QUESTIONS • When will the Temple be destroyed? (this one is history) • What will be the SIGNS of Your coming? • What will be the SIGNS of the end of the world?

  4. Do We Know When Jesus Will Return,Or When The End Of The World Will Be? NO!

  5. Mark 13:32But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. NO MAN KNOWS NO ANGEL KNOWS NOT EVEN THE SONOF MAN KNOWS!

  9. The controversial books, which have sold more than 60 million copies, depict the biblical end of the world: the Christian eschatology of the upheaval that precedes the second coming of Jesus Christ, known also as “end times.”

  10. LaHaye recently spoke with NEWSWEEK’s Brian Braiker about why he believes the events currently unfolding in the Middle East reflect biblical prophesy…

  11. NW: How do you interpret what’s happening in the Middle East? Are you seeing signs that these are the end of days?

  12. Tim LaHaye: Biblically speaking, the very nations that are mentioned in prophecy—and have been mentioned for 2,500 years as occupying the focus of the tension of the last days—are thevery nations that are involved in theconflict right now…

  13. Tim LaHaye: That may be one of the reasons there’s a sudden interest in bible prophecy because all of a sudden they realize end-time events could possibly take place and break forth right now.

  14. NW: But first-centuryChristians believed thatthe end of the world couldcome during their lifetime.

  15. Tim LaHaye: We call it the belief in the imminent return of Christ. It’s a motivational factor to serve the Lord and not let the world be so much with us that we don’t serve the Lord inthe spiritual environment.

  16. NW: Couldn't almostanything then be taken as a clue that any point in history might be the end times?

  17. Tim LaHaye: Down through the years that’s true. But never the accumulation of events as we have today. I have often said that no one knows the day nor the hour that Christ will come…

  18. Tim LaHaye: But no generation has had so many signs of the times as our generation. We have more reason to believe that Christ could come in our lifetime than any generation before us.

  19. What did Jesus Christ say about the SIGNS of His coming and the end of the world?

  20. Matthew 24:4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

  21. We need to seriously understand the importance of what Jesus is about to say!

  22. TAKE HEED Literally means to “keep your eyes open!”

  23. TAKE HEED “There is going to be some serious misinformation given on this subject, so listen to Me carefully!”

  24. Matthew 24:5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

  25. Many will claim to be the messiah and will claim to have the answers to solve all of the world’s problems!

  26. People are desperate for leadership, especially politically and religiously.

  27. When these two are blended together, it is amazingly powerful!

  28. I don’t think the last days will be marked so much by ‘Coo-Coo Christs’ as I do ‘Counterfeit Christs!”
