  3. TWO THEORIES THAT CAN BE USED IN EXPLAINING CRIME INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. SOCIAL STRUCTURAL THEORY 2. THE SOCIAL INTERACTIONAL THEORY (Giddens and Sutton, 2017).
