Programmes vs Relationships Programmes can take the place of passion for God. Programmes are mistakenly used to create lifestyle. Programmes can actually hinder personal ministry. Programmes should assist the process of ministry. Programmes should have a short shelf life. Programmes should create experiences in which people connect with God.
Understanding Youth Relationally Relationship matter the most Acceptance is their deciding factor Pain is their driver Anger is rising Hardness comes sooner Music is huge "True" doesn't matter There are no boundaries They want authority Their now matters more than the future Sex is expected They are spiritual seekers
Contacting Youth Relationally (1) Follow the leader (2) Take the initiative (3) Express interest in them (4) Focus on them (5) Affirm them (6) Serve them (7) Learn from them (8) Trust them (9) Challenge them (10) Don't disappoint them
