  14. National Clearinghouse Workgroup Charge: FSMB and ECFMG to develop a national clearinghouse containing information and data on international medical schools that will assist state medical boards to evaluate the medical education received by applicants for licensure.

National Clearinghouse Workgroup (continued) To accomplish its charge, the workgroup will: • Help expand the information contained in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED); • Develop and obtain international medical school quality indicators; and • Evaluate the feasibility of establishing criteria or a process that could be utilized by state medical boards to classify international medical schools
