A national park is large piece of land.In the park animals are free to come and go.Trees and plants grow everywhere.People go to a national park to enjoy nature.Many people stay in campgrounds in national parks.. They sleep in tents and cook their food over campfires.Thay also walk on trails or paths in the park.On a gate at the entrance of Yellowstone,a sign says,”For the Benefit and Enjoyment of the People.”

Yellowstone is the world’s oldest national park.It became a national park in 1872.It is also the world’s largest park.黃石公園是世界最老的國家公園 。它在1872年變成了國家公園。它也是世界上最大的公園。 • park.It covers parts of the states of Wyoming,Montana,andIdaho.Yellowstone is 21/2 times the size of the smallest state,Rhode Island. • 它包括的州有懷俄明州、蒙大拿州和愛達荷州。黃石公園是最小的州羅得島的2.5倍。

Introduce • Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho.It’s also the first national park in the world.The Park spans an area of 3,468.4 square miles,comprisinglakes, canyons, rivers and mountain ranges. 黃石國家公園是美國第一個國家公園。主要位於懷俄明州,部分位於蒙大拿州和愛達荷州,也是世界上第一個國家公園喔~黃石國家公園佔地面積約為8983平方千米 其中包括湖泊、峽谷、河流和山脈。

  6. Introduce •  Yellowstone Lake is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America and is centered over the Yellowstone Caldera, the largest supervolcanoon the continent. The caldera is considered an active volcano. It has erupted several times in the last two million years. 公園內最大的湖泊是位於黃石火山中心的黃石湖,是整個北美地區最大的高海拔湖泊之一。黃石火山是北美最大且仍處於活躍狀態的超級火山,在過去兩百萬年中它曾爆發數次~
