Rosters • Assigned to one of seven CCRF rotational rosters OR agency roster • May still not be “deployable” • Every officer in the Corps should be on a roster. • First call every 7 months • If need exceeds roster, will expand call
Ready Rotational Rosters • All deployment roles represented • Roles are balanced by role, agency, duty station, and supervisor • Monthly Rotation • Backup on month following on-call month • Each roster represents the available pool of officers that could be utilized to respond during an on-call period.
Notification and Approval • Officers are notified by email of their roster assignments (as well as on the website) • Supervisors are notified by email of their officers assignments • If supervisor CANNOT approve assignment, they must contact the Commissioned Corps Liaison • Approved by CPOs and OPDIV/Agency Liaisons
Activation Process • Request for assistance • Activation recommendation memo prepared for SG • Evaluation/approval by SG • SG activates CCRF • Mission requirements matched with capabilities of CCRF members on ready rotational roster
Activation Process • Advise Agency Liaisons of activation • Members on roster contacted for confirmation of availability. • Availability reaffirmed with supervisor. • Travel orders and arrangements are completed. • CCRF members deploys to situation.
Basic Level • Current license/registration • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course • Training requirement (online program) • Record clinical currency • Record Height/Weight
Basic Level • Medical exam within last 5 years • Immunization requirement • Login at least every 3 months • Select Deployment Role • APFT or President’s Challenge

Current License • Submit Licensure/Registration to OCCO
BLS • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers • ARC CPR/AED for Professsional Rescuers • ACLS, EMT, First Responder
Training Modules • Login to ccrf.umbc.edu • Change password • Add CEU groups
Medical Exam • Submit Medical Exam to Medical Affairs Branch • Medical Exam and History every 5 years
Immunizations • Recently approved immunization policy requiring members of CCRF to obtain immunizations (or waivers) for: • Hepatitis B (3 dose series) and positive titer • Hepatitis A (2 dose series) • Influenza (annual) • Measles, Mumps, Rubella • Polio (adult booster) • Tetanus and diphtheria • (every 10 years) • Varicella (Chickenpox) • Tuberculin Skin test (annual)
Fitness Requirments • Annual Physical Fitness Test (APFT) • President’s Challenge • www.presidentschallenge.org • Team #13537 • Active Lifestyle or Champion
CCRF Annual Physical Fitness Test (APFT) • May be administered by another commissioned officer • Cardiovascular Health • 1.5 mile run – 450 m swim – 500 yd swim • Upper Body Strength • Max push-ups in 2:00 • Core Muscle Strength • Max sit-ups in 2:00 or side-bridgeexercise
