What is A-TRAIN? Arkansas TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network • A-TRAINisweb-based learning management system that provides a comprehensive clearinghouse of on-site and distance learning opportunities available at the local, state, and national level. • A-TRAINis a free resource for learners and course providers and offers many benefits.
How Many Use A-TRAIN? • Over 4,000 learners in Arkansas and growing!
On any computer with Internet access, you simply type in the website address https://ar.train.org/and you will be taken to the A-TRAIN login screen.
If you have an account, type in your login name and password.
Complete all the required fields, then click next at the bottom of the page
Select Educational Service Cooperatives or Pulaski County Schools depending on which best describes where you fit.
If you selected, Educational Service Cooperatives, select the cooperative affiliated with your school.
If you selected, Pulaski County Schools, select the group that best fits where you work.
Check whether you are a member of the Medical Reserve Corp. Then, click next.
Select up to three Professional Roles that best match your profession. Then, click next.
Select up to three work settings that best fit your work environment. Then, click next.
Completing the demographic information is optional. Click next.
If you selected more than one professional role, please select the one you wish to use as your primary role.
Now you are logged in and can check announcements, search for a course, register for courses and much more.
In the My Account folder you will find all your registration information. Please be sure to keep this information updated.
If you ever forget your password, type in your login name and click here.
You will be asked the question you selected during your original registration process. If you are able to correctly answer the questions, you will be given your password.
Click on Browse Arkansas for a list of courses intended for Arkansas audiences only.
Scroll through the titles to find the course. Then click on the name of the course.
Click register. You are now registered for the course and it has been added to “My Learning”
You can also register by entering the course ID into the Search By Course ID box and clicking Go.
Click on the name of the course to access the course details. Then, click on the registration tab and follow the steps outlined in the previous slides to register.
Click on the M next to the name of the course you just completed.
Click Evaluation button to access evaluation. Important note: The evaluation will pop up in a new window, so if you have pop up blocker enabled, you will need to disable it or hit the ctrl key at the same time you click on theevaluation button to prevent the evaluation from being blocked
Answer each question and click next until you complete the evaluation.
Click the Home tab to access your transcript and certificate.
Your transcript lists the title of the course, the date completed and any credit that you may have received. You can also add any Non-TRAIN courses (courses you take outside of A-TRAIN) to your transcript.
Click Certificates to print certificates from verified courses you have completed.
