International Experience Exchange – Week 1. Mumbai – Pune Highway heading east toward Chikhale. Nelson’s week began with two flights from Greensboro to Mumbai – total flying time 17 hrs. Nelson’s mornings at the Peace Park Hotel began with two cups of chai.

International Experience Exchange – Week 1 Mumbai – Pune Highway heading east toward Chikhale.
Nelson’s week began with two flights from Greensboro to Mumbai – total flying time 17 hrs.
Nelson’s mornings at the Peace Park Hotel began with two cups of chai.
Nelson and Vijay met most evenings in Vijay’s office to review the day and plan for tomorrow.
The hotel staff prepared to serve nourishment for body and soul.
The Chikhale Ashram Faculty and Students prepared for their days.
From the Peace Park Hotel you could watch the Panvel Flyover move toward completion while people headed off to their daily tasks.
Internet Cloud Nelson and Sumeet connected their computers to each other and to the world.
By Thursday the Ashram Staff had designated a new Computer Training Center and was eager to get it outfitted.
The proposed Science Lab contained computers, science equipment and other supplies.
Before noon on Saturday, the Faculty, Staff and Students had one computer running and each person had typed their name into a Word document.
Nelson offered basic contextual information, project organization and practical skills training.
Just before the lunch bell rang, Nelson and Vishnu shook hands to celebrate the progress made in the first week and the growing resolve and enthusiasm to move forward with the International Experience Exchange.
