  1. CNG Conversion Kits – A Cost Effective & Environment- Friendly Option For Car Owners LUCKY TOWING AND CNG SERVICES

  2. CNG is compressed natural gas. This is the difference to LPG, which is created in the production of diesel and gasoline. CNG can be filled with a slow fill system or a fast-fill system. With the slow fill system, you connect a small compressor to the natural gas network at home. It takes several hours for your tank to be full. But, with the advent of newer technology and more gas filling stations, you can expect faster filling of CNG gas in your car. Before you opt for CNG kit fitment in your car, you must know the advantages and disadvantages of CNG conversion kits to be sure whether you should have one in your car or not.

  3. Advantages 1. A CNG car emits 90% less particulate matter and 30% less carbon-di-oxide than a diesel or gasoline vehicle. Natural gas is 20 to 30% cheaper than diesel and up to 40% cheaper than gasoline.

  4. 2. They fill up just as quickly as petrol or diesel. So much faster than with electric cars. The CNG tank is at the bottom of your car so you don't lose luggage space. 3. Different brands combine CNG with petrol. So, you can continue driving when your CNG tank is empty. If you want to drive even more environmentally friendly, you can fill your tank with biogas, but you won’t find any option where they sell biogas, as it is still under trial. Whereas for CNG gas, you can easily get the kit installed from a CNG fitment centre Chandigarh and then fill up the gas from Sector 44 as station.

  5. Disadvantages 1. A CNG car is more expensive to buy than a petrol car, but often cheaper than diesel and electric vehicles. However, it is just the initial cost, which is higher, whereas the running cost is way cheaper than petrol cars.

  6. 2. The CNG tank is heavy and quite large. This affects the range. There are currently not many gas stations in India where you can fill up with natural gas, so you will have to find a CNG gas station nearby, which may be a bit of a challenge. If you think that the advantages outweigh disadvantages, then you should definitely opt for a CNG kit because it will allow you to save thousands of rupees every year. Moreover, you will contribute to a healthy and safe environment.
