When to go all-in in Poker

All-in poker or all-in is a bet on which the whole game will depend. All-in is above all others in terms of responsibility. This bet will allow you to increase the stack many times, or lose everything.

All-in Preflop
The first rule that should be learned by a player who wants to bet all-in at the very first stage of the game is to always assess the situation and thoroughly check the justification of this bet. In this case, it is necessary to pay special attention to the number of opponents who can potentially call the bet.

The best condition for going all-in is considered to be if the player is completely sure that only one opponent will support his bet. Of course, the more participants in the game equal, the larger the pot can be won back, however, this significantly reduces the chances of winning.

For example, a player who knows that he is the only one playing with a pair of aces preflop can expect 80% to win. But this percentage decreases significantly in proportion to the number of players calling the bet.

Most players call early in the game when there are a lot of players from weak players. There are situations when opponents put all-in with very unexpected combinations, it happens that the whole table can go all-in in tournaments and biggest jackpot, and a pair of aces does not necessarily win.

If the player has a good starting hand in the form of a top pair (AAKK), you should go all-in at the first stage of the game, if any of the opponents respond to a raise by over-raising.

In this situation, all-in will help to exclude overly neat (tight) players who have medium-strength pairs in their hands or large, but not paired cards that rise immediately after the provocateur. This bet may not always stop the maniacs and loose ones, but it is against these opponents that the chances of winning increase.

All-in at the stage when the opponents have not yet made a single decision is a rather reckless decision. In this case, the player runs the risk that none of the opponents will dare to support his bet, which means that only the blinds (bets made before the start of the game will get a result, which is quite a shame with a good starting hand.

All-in is good in the later stages of tournament games when it makes sense to pick up the blinds as it will help you multiply your stack.
