  3. YOUR ADDRESS YOUR ADDRESS • Write your address in the right upper corner: ( Напишите свой адрес в верхнем правом углу) 1-ая строка – город, Ust – Barguzin, 2-ая строка – страна Russia After city\town put the comma! (После города ставьте запятую)

  4. DATE • Write the date under your address: (Напишите дату под Вашим адресом) 4 December, 2012 Ust – Barguzin, 04/12/12 ( BE) Russia12/04/12 ( AE) 4 December, 2012

  5. GREETING Общая модель обращения: • Dear/My dear/Hi/Hello+ имя адресата +запятая Hi, Dick, Hello, Mary, DearTom, Never begin Dear friend/pen-friend, write the name. (Никогда не начинайте Дорогой друг, пишите имя)

  6. INTRODUCTION Thank your pen-friend for his/her last letter. (Поблагодарите своего друга по переписке за присланное письмо) Beg his/her pardon. (Извинитесь) Mention the facts from his/her letter. ( Укажите факты из его/ее письма)

  14. Ust-Barguzin, Russia 4 December, 2012 Dear Boris, I was delighted to receive your nice letter, and I am so glad to have a pen-pal in Russia. Let me tell you something about myself. I am just fifteen and I attend our local school. I am taking eight subjects in all, but my favorite ones are chemistry and Russian. I wish I knew more about Russian culture and history. My family is not very large. There are only three of us: my mother, my elder brother John, who is nineteen, and myself. In my spare time I do a lot of swimming, and my other hobby is football. It was certainly a good idea of yours to suggest my writing in Russian, but unfortunately I am not proficient enough yet and would make too many mistakes.
