  2. The Main Idea of the Article The Executive Branch Article two of the constitution describes all aspects of the executive branch including: President and VP Powers/Duties of President- For Ex: Commander in Chief, Nominates Judges Impeachment and removal

  3. The Most Important Section/Clause The most important section/clause is section 2,clause 1. This clause describes the responsibilities of the president as a Commander in Chief of the US armed forces. Article 2,Section 2, clause 1 states,” He shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the US.”

Constitutional Principles Article 2 section 1 is related to Republicanism- (Indirect) Electors Article 2 section 1 is related to Checks and Balances- “Gifts” and set salary Article 2 section 2 is related to Separation of Powers- Commander in Chief Article 2 section 2 is related to Checks and Balances- 66% of Senate Article 2 section 4 is related to Checks and Balances- High Crimes or Misdemeanors
