CRAFT EMPLOYEES Improve the accountability for scanner check out. Craft employees must fill-out the sign out sheet before taking the scanner. Scanners must be returned to the dock/charging stations immediately after use. Employees should not forget to fill-out the sign in portion of the sheet after returning the scanner. INITIAL SOLUTIONS
SUPERVISORS Obtain spare key for scanner doors. Supervisors/Team Leaders on respective tours should have duplicate keys for their scanner doors. Enforce strict compliance of the use of sign-in sheet. Conduct a stand up talk to remind all employees being accountable for every scanner they take. INITIAL SOLUTIONS
132 cradles/charging stations are available. Out of the total 132 cradles/chargers, approximately 38 scanners are only available. INVENTORY
RECOMMENDATIONS Designate/assign a number of scanners to respective operations. Scanners should be stationed at the supervisor’s desk. IMPROVE
IMPROVE RECOMMENDATIONS • Cradles and scanners will be stored inside the cabinet. • Cabinet should be locked at all times. Lock codes should only be provided to supervisors, alternates, and team leaders.
