Group Required Reviews • As per Policy 8.1, Group Operating Boards are to review technical divisions at least every 5 years and (new) technical subdivisions at least every 3 years; Group Operating Boards are also responsible for a 2 year review of divisions not maintaining viable status • Also, from the TCOB Operation Guide (§2.4) • Each Technical Group Operating Board (TGOB) is required to perform an evaluation of the Technical Group Leader following this same process except the report shall be provided to the TGL and the TCVP, preferably by the Leadership Training Conference (“LTC”) each spring.

Division Periodic Evaluations • Process • Build off of CDOT DHA & tie into other cycles (bylaws, strategic plans, membership drive) • Feedback to division, CDOT, TCOB, members • Sequence • 2012+3 years: MEMS, ISPS, CIE • 2013+3 years: FPST, DED • 2014+3 years: EPPD, DSC • Calendar • July: Request to division • Aug: Division response • Sept: Eval assessment • Oct: Evaluation to division; Xmit to CDOT • Nov/Dec: Division response • Jan: S&DG ExComm • Feb: Division Response • Mar: S&DG Operating Board Review; Xmit to TCOB • Apr – Jun: Division comm to membership; next steps

  4. S&DG Annual Division Reviews • Process: • Use simplified division assessment form • 2 MALs review both report and plan for each division, prefer 1 MAL from the division under review • Division reviews to be completed w/in next month+

  5. 2011-12 S&DG TGL Review • Process • Run by Past TGL Beaman • Survey sent to SDGOB voting members and responses received • Review Score Composite: 4 out of 5
