Active Opticale Cable An AOC Active Optical Cable has transceiver at its respective ends, a combination of transmitter and receiver which is connected to a fiber cable for the transfer of optical signals. The AOC Active Optical Cable uses an electronic to optical converter to translate the signals within the Transceiver of the AOC Active Optical Cable.  BlueOptics AOC Active Optical Cables also offer Digital Diagnostic Monitoring, which allows you to monitor various values of the AOC Active Optical Cable, such as the temperature, while being in live mode

  2. Types Of Active Optical Cables AOC cable- An AOC cable is always active. It has two types of connectors combined with fixed optical fibers with a similar function as optical transceivers. Both DAC and AOC have their particular benefits and drawbacks DAC cable- A Direct Attach Cable (DAC) can be produced as passive or active variant. As the passive DAC has no active components, it offers a direct electrical connection between corresponding cable ends
