  2. Our Process Our process started with brainstorming and engineering our water filtering system. First, we poked five holes in the bottom cup. Then, we poked three holes in the top cup . After that, we put screens in both cups and poked three stir sticks in the bottom cup. Next , we put baking soda in the bottom cup. Then, we put Carbon in the top cup. Then we poured the pond water into our filter.

  3. Materials and Cost 2 Screens $0.70 ½ cup of activated carbon $0.65 ½ cup of baking soda $0.55 2 cups $0.30 2 ph strips Government provided theses 3 stir sticks Free It is just $2.20 it saves you money!

  4. Results Our final results concluded pH was 8.5. The filtered water was clear. The filtered water had no odor. The cost was just $2.20. It saves you money! In memory of the victims of the Nargis Cycolone
