Demolition of Kim Chuan Water Reclamation Plant and Serangoon Sludge Treatment Works and Grouting of Pipelines • Purpose of this project To restore and return the state lands for future development and to fill up the voids of abandoned pipelines to prevent their collapse • Project Status Tender for the Works is expected to be called in Nov 2009 • Scope of the Works • Demolition ofKim Chuan Water Reclamation Plant, Serangoon Sludge Treatment Works and Wash Water Pumping Station • Grouting of pipelines: 1) Outfalls - 4km of 1800mm dia,10km of 1580mm dia 2) Sludge Mains - 10km of 457mm dia 3) Pumping Mains - 4km of 457mm dia
