Why it was a problem? • According to the school it affect her ability to interact with the students and staff • “Clearly where there is poor professional judgement, it impacts the teachers ability to do their job” • According to the Thomasboro Elementary School teacher the district took action against her because they were embarrassed by the news reports

  4. What to learn from this ? • “information they post on the Web can be viewed by the public and should be appropriate.” • "When you're in a professional position, especially one where you're interacting with children and parents, you need to be above reproach"
