Applied and targeted implementation of FOPC&FRAP in higher education • Bologna model 4 + 2 years • Forest Bachelor Course 12-14 weeks in year 4 • Forest Master Course 10-12 weeks in year 6 • Target groups – Managers, Supervisors and Technical staff in advanced Forest Operations • Applied and concentrated courses with mix of theory and practice • Action and problem based learning • Participation by key persons from Forest Companies, Authorities and Forest Machine Industry

Russian-Swedish cooperation 2010 – 2014 for strengthened education on Forest Technology with special focus on FOPC & FRAP • Partnership among Forest universities on Forest Technology as a framework discipline for FOPC & FRAP • Teacher networking with annual workshops and excursions • Innovation and education clusters between universities, forest enterprises and authorities • Project for development of forest road construction with new technologies and materials • Guest student activities including joint thesis works • Test courses on key issues including models for action and problem based learning
