Introduction A triplet layout is optically defined by the positions, (mag.) length and strengths of quadrupoles. These specifications depend on the drift lengths needed to host the coil ends, interconnections, length of the correctors (dipole, skew quads, non linear...) With respect to the last HL-LHC baseline layout (SLHCV3.1b), we have: • New apertures (150mm instead of 140mm) • New gradient (140T/m instead of 150T/m) • Q1-Q3 split in two halves • No new information on interconnect and corrector lengths w.r.t to PhaseI project. Today we can only • rescale with strength and aperture the last layout, which in turn has been based on the PhaseI project estimates • Even if these estimates were correct, still not final are: • the type and strength of the non linear correctors • the BPM locations
