  4. Do they reproduce? • Yes they lay eggs • They have up to 60 babies • Mate in spring • Lay eggs in April

  5. what do they eat? • They like toads • They eat anything small • Have a nose to get toads

  6. How does it protect itself? • It will usually run away • It will try to hide • It will finally bite you

  7. Do they hibernate? • They usually have a big dinner • Then they go under a rock • When they come out of hibernation they have a big dinner
