Mumbai, the city that never sleeps, is true to its moniker. No wonder there is no dearth of bars in the city. Here’s a list of 5 most luxurious bars! By: Soumya Jain As the cocktail culture advances to offer some of the most unique concoctions that can be created by man, Mumbai is adding bars by the minute on its land. But sifting through them all, here are five bars which have impressed me the most!
AER Mumbai: Located on the rooftop of Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, AER Mumbai is still one of the swankiest rooftop bars in the city, if not the highest. The modernist, architectural AER Mumbai makes for a truly memorable drinking and dining experience. There’s an attention to detail that’s rare for Mumbai’s fast growing epicurean scene. Serving an array of chic gourmet teasers, and tapas-style menu, AER Mumbai proves to be a refreshing change to the almost clichéd dining scene in Mumbai. • Coordinates: 1/136, 34th Floor, Dr E Moses Rd, Gandhi Nagar, Upper Worli, Worli, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
2- ASILO, St. Regis Mumbai: The newly refurbished Asilo Lounge, located on the 40th floor of the St. Regis hotel, and probably the highest rooftop bar in Mumbai now, offers casual cool with a slice of glamour. With a unique Zen-like vibe and an elegant Mediterranean feel, Asilo has a Cutting-edge, bi-level design. Revel in some gorgeous views of the Arabian Sea. • Coordinates:462, Tulsi Pipe Rd, Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India • 3- Dome, InterContinental Mumbai: One of the original rooftop bars in Mumbai, Dome has been pleasantly catering well to the millennials of Mumbai. Offering some stunning views of the Marine Drive, Dome impresses not just with its beyond-the-horizon panaroma, but also with its list of wines, cocktails and even cigars. Definitely, a must-try. • Coordinates: 135, Marine Dr, Churchgate, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
4. Harbour Bar, Taj Mahal Palace Hotel: Coming down to earth, Harbour Bar has the distinction of being the first licensed bar in Mumbai. It opened in 1933, and is still running strong. Although renovated and more contemporary now, nothing can replace the regal feel that this bar has always possessed. Still the go-to place for many, Harbour Place is hands-down an all-round winner for atmosphere, taste and style. • Coordinates: B K BomanBehram Marg, Apollo Bandar, Colaba, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
5. Olive Bar & Kitchen: Although not a bar exactly, this glamourous venue boasts ‘Thursday’s Bar Nights’. The restaurant is known to attract some of the most well-known diaspora of Mumbai. No better reason to make a beeline here if you want to welcome the weekend with some panache. Bring in the holiday with creative cocktails such as Jalapeno Honey or Garden of Eden. • Coordinates: No. 14, Nargis Dutt Rd, Union Park, Khar West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India • For More Information :- https://www.luxuryfacts.com/index.php/sections/article/Up-in-the-AER-Mumbais-Coolest-Rooftop-Bar
