  2. About Us : • In 1985, a caribou shed was discovered 100 feet behind the Main Guest House of Caribou Bay Retreat. • It is believed to be 12,500 years BP (before the present) of age.

  3. The horn is one of the best preserved sheds discovered in Wisconsin and sits prominently in a glass case in the retreat’s Great Room. • Caribou Bay is located on the terminal moraine of the Ice Age Trail.
