  1. 4 men sentenced to death in India

  2. An Indian court on Friday sentenced four men to death for the rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in New Delhi. Prosecutors had asked for the death penalty for the men, citing the "extreme brutality" of the attack, which took place on a moving bus in December. They have also argued that the court needs to send a message to Indian society with its judgment. The four men -- Vinay Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta and Mukesh Singh– are planning to appeal the verdict.

Rowling is going to make her screenwriting debut with a movie centered around one of Harry Potter's textbooks, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them," and will center on its author, Newt Scamander.
