Area of installation:Sea district 6km southwest of Dikella, 20kmsouthwest • of Alexandroupolis, Evros Prefecture, Thrace. • Distance from coast: 3-5 km • Capacity: 50MW (with potential for 70MW expansion) • Number of W/T: 10 • W/T size: 5MW • WT Type: AREVA Multibrid M5000 • Installation depth: 30-40m • Connection Point: Ultra Height Voltage Substation of Nea Santa • Connection Grid: • - Submarine Middle Voltage (20 or 30KV) Cables to the coastal Substation (5Km) • - Middle Voltage (20 or 30KV)/Height Voltage (150KV) Substation at a suitable place near the coast. • - Underground Height Voltage (150KV) Cable to the Ultra Height Voltage Substation of Nea Santa (35Km)

  3. Project maturity: • - Application to RAE (Regulatory Authority for Energy) Reg. Num. I-114032/01.06.2010 • - Letter from DESMIE (Hellenic TSO) suggesting the Ultra Height Voltage of Nea Santa as connection Point. • - License from civil-works directory of East Macedonia and Thrace Region for a floating metering-mast installation at sea. • - Private Agreement and Quotation from CRES for installation of a the mast in the site of interest. • - Quotation from local construction facility for construction, transportation, installation and maintenance of a floating met-mast carrying platform • - Lobbying with DESMIE, RAE end local Authorities for the go-ahead movement. • - Certified, one year long, Wind Data from two adjacent land-locations adequate for the Application in RAE and suitable for a preliminary Energy Study. - Inquiry from two reliable sources for conducting preliminary Energy Study.
