  1. Choose Your Adventure, If You Dare… Lancelot and Elaine

  2. You’re walking down the hallway and you encounter a freshman that has the keys that belong to your friend’s car. Do you confront the freshman about why he has the keys? • Yes, you ask about your friend’s key. • No, you walk by deciding it’s your friend’s issue.

  3. What Happens… YES NO You walk past the freshman and head to class. • The freshman informs you that your friend is waiting for you and has a surprise for you. • A—You decide to check out the surprise. • B—You decide that something is up and text your friend instead.

  4. The Results! A B Your friend responds to your text saying My car keys? That’s weird. Remember I got a ride from a friend today? • You walk to your friend’s next class, open the door and overhear your friend talking trash about you. Congratulations, you choose wrong.

  5. Task #2 • Create a chivalrous theme for “Lancelot and Elaine” or two themes for each story. • Create a chivalrous theme for “Adventures of Sir Lancelot” (Example: The author illustrates the gradual yet inescapable downfall of morals when it is aligned with courtly love.). • Provide at least one piece of textual evidence including the page number to support each theme. • Create an overarching complex message that combines both themes from above. • Provide an explanation how this overarching theme combines themes based on the story.
