Changing Face of Monitoring and Compliance • Necessitates unification of general and special education efforts within the multi-tiered system of student supports (MTSSS) • Focus on support through vertical collaboration rather than identification of deficits • Shift from forms for sake of compliance documentation to documentation reflecting functional team problem-solving

Leadership Workgroup Goals • Exemplar district leadership teams are engaging in an effective leadership framework that results in improved student outcomes. • Exemplar districts are using resources/tools/materials developed by our group • Define and provide examples of integrated MTSSS • Build transparent communication across stakeholders (legislators, DOE projects, FLDOE, university preparation programs, districts) • All districts are aware of the leadership team framework and protocol developed
