Sangiran Dome, samples from the Sangiran mud volcano yield xenoliths containing Pellatispira, planktonic foraminifera and large Nummulitic and Discocyclina forams. Mid to Late Eocene age. Shallow borehole (Hartono, 1969) at Kebun Agung yielded Late Eocene Turborotalia, Nummullites, Disco- cyclina, Asterocyclina and Pellatispira Solo E-W anticline intruded by E. Oligo- cene diorite. M. Eocene Wungkal Ss and Nummulitic Ls underlie Gamping tectonic mudstone breccia/Ss. dikes. Yogyakarta Nanggulan, 5 km2 Eocene- Oligocene outcrop area, 3 boreholes and partial seismic grid.
